Oshiomhole congratulates Imoke, Dickson

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has congratulated the Governors of Cross River and Bayelsa States, Senator Liyel Imoke and Rt. Hon Seriaki Dickson respectively on their electoral victory.

In separate congratulatory letters to the Governors, Comrade Oshiomhole assured them of the full support of the people and Government of Edo State. “On my part, I look forward to a healthy partnership with you in furtherance of our shared quest for the uplifting of our Region and in the overall development of our nation”, he said.

To the Cross River Governor, Comrade Oshiomhole said: “your victory is a resounding renewal of popular confidence in your leadership. It is a mark of faith by the people of Cross Rivers State not only in your ability to sustain the progress made in your first tenure, but also to chart a new course of development in other vital spheres.

“I wish to assure you of the continuous support of the people of Edo State and my personal goodwill. I look forward to our usual robust partnership in furtherance of our shared commitment to the empowerment of our Region and in the overall development of our nation.

“While wishing you a successful tenure, allow me to also convey the renewed assurances of my highest esteem and the best regards of the people of Edo State.”

To Governor Dickson of Bayelsa State, Comrade Oshiomhole said: “your victory is a resounding affirmation of the confidence of Bayelsa people in your ability to provide purposeful leadership that will usher in a new dawn of development. In a State that has one of the highest revenue portfolios, but saddled with abject human development indicators and a poor infrastructural profile, the challenges are certainly arduous.

“However, I am convinced that you have enormous goodwill across critical political spectrums as well as the right mix of experience and qualities to deliver on the huge aspirations of the people of Bayelsa State.”
