Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has flagged off the construction of an industrial water bore-hole at Agbede in Etsako-West Local Government Area.
Olatunji Jacob reports that the exercise is expected to be duplicated in Aiwain and Jagbe communities in the area.
In his remark, Comrade Oshiomhole said the procurement of the third drilling rig is in fulfillment of his promise to address water challenges across the three senatorial districts.
The governor directed the State Rapid Response Agency in charge of the exercise to deploy the rig to Aviele to also give the community water.
Comrade Oshiomhole who presented his scorecard to the people of Agbede however, insisted that as someone who had criticized bad governance, he has obligation to make a difference by impacting positively on the lives of citizens.
Speaking on behalf of the community, Prince Abdullateef Momodu Commended the governor form repositioning the state, particularly the projects in Aiwian clan
Responding, the governor thanked the royal father from acknowledging his modest contribution to the development of the clan and promised to sustain it. The Oba and his chiefs later prayed for the governor and his cabinet.
