Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has debunked the speculation linking the sack of former Commissioner for Higher and Tertiary Education, Barrister Ekpenisi Omorotiomwan to misappropriation of funds.
The governor made the clarification shortly after swearing in his replacement, Washington Osifo as the new commissioner.
Comrade Adams Oshiomhole said contrary to speculation, issues concerning money was not responsible for the sack of former Commissioner, Ekpenisi Omorotiomwan.
The governor pointed out that there was need to make changes when he did
He explained that the challenge of raising an effective buoyant system is lindged on the manner resources are appropriated to meet the desired goals of government.
Responding, the new Commissioner thanked the governor for finding him worthy for the appointment.

Also at the ceremony, Comrade Oshiomhole announced the redeployment of the Commissioner for Special Duties, Blessing Maygida to Women Affairs and Social Development.
