Planned Shutdown: Senate Pleads With Oil Marketers

The Senate has pleaded with independent oil marketers to rescind their planned decision to embark on a nationwide strike over unpaid Subsidy arrears owed them by the federal government which is almost a trillion naira.

Senate Reached the decision after deliberating on a motion moved by the chairman of the senate committee on petroleum downstream Kabiru Marafa.
