The sixtieth birthday anniversary of the Prelate, United Baptist Mission, Nigeria, and Right Reverend Osama Usuanlele has been held amidst pomp and ceremony in Benin City.
Wellington Akodeja reports that the unique ceremony held at the headquarters of Baptist Church, forty-five Mission Road, Benin City, had in attendance, religious ministers within and outside the state including captains of industries.
The prelate of Baptist Church Nigeria, Right Reverend Osama Usuanlele in company of family members, dignitaries and guests offering thanks to God for attaining the age of sixty.
In a message, the guest preacher, Reverend Olu Aderibigbe said the celebrant, right Reverend Osama Usuanlele is a revered man of God, dedicated and steadfast to the propagation of the gospel, maintaining that for the celebrant to be very strong at sixty is a true attestation of God’s blessings upon his life.
Reverend Adebirigbe called on the congregation to emulate the sterling leadership qualities of the celebrant in order to enjoy God’s benevolence.
Prayers were offered for long life and prosperity for the celebrant.
The event later shifted to a grand reception held in honour of the celebrant, Reverend Osama Usuanlele.
Chairman on the occasion and former Minister of Defence, Major General Godwin Abbey, retired and some guests wished the celebrant many more years of fruitful celebration in good health.
The celebrant, right reverend Osama Usuanlele thanked God for what he described as a rare privilege.
Among dignitaries who attended the ceremony were Bishop Utiede Attah, Chief Alfred Eghobamen, SAN, Professor Victor Uwaifo, Professor David Awanboh, General Godwin Abbey retired, Justice Isaac Aluyi, retired, Chief Kola Okeaya Inneh, SAN, amongst others
