Pres. Buhari Charges Monarchs To Do More To Curb Armed Banditry

President Muhammadu Buhari has charged traditional rulers in Zamfara state to do more in curbing banditry and kidnapping in their communities.
Speaking at a meeting with the royal fathers in the Government House on Sunday in Gusau, Zamfara State, as part of the ongoing campaigns, the President expressed the determination of his administration to defend the country from criminals and insurgents.

Statehouse correspondent Ikharo Attah reports the president as saying he felt disappointed that people close to some traditional rulers were found to have a hand in such criminal activities such as armed banditry and kidnapping for ransom
