Presidency reacts to report on extension of PMB’s vacation

The Presidency has described reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his ten-day vacationn in London as fake.

The official twitter handle of the presidency @NGRPresident dismissed the report, pointing out that it is an old story which was first circulated during the president’s vacation in February, 2017.

The presidency advised Nigerians to ignore the fake news, as president Buhari has not extended his vacation.

The president began his latest holiday on third of August and is expected to end the vacation on seventeenth of August.

Under public service rules, only official work days are counted for holidays.
