President Goodluck Jonathan says his administration is working to revive the Ajaokuta Stell Company which packed up immediately after it was privatized by the administration of Olusegun Obasanjo.
The president who was speaking Monday when he received the north central leadership of the People’s Democratic Party at the presidential villa, however, noted that he is working to solve the legal challenges
Earlier, leader of the delegation and former PDP Chairman, Senator Ahmadu Ali urged the president to revive the dead firm, adding that the people of the north central deserve to continuously benefit from governance.
The delegation also pleaded with the president to continue pushing more federal projects to the region while promising more votes for the PDP in the 2015 general election.
