Members of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors this morning commenced a nationwide strike despite Federal Government’s last-minute efforts to stop the action.
The nationwide strike commenced this morning at eight O’clock.
The resident doctors, however, assured that their action was not meant to hurt Nigerians.
Shedding light on the strike, the union’s President, Doctor Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi, appealed to Nigerians to understand their plight and, bear with them.
He called on the Federal Government to urgently address their demands.
