A couple, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Oigbokie have cried out over alleged destruction of their crops by cattle.
They said some of the maize destroyed by the cattle are approaching maturity stage for harvesting.
Mr. and Mrs. Toney Oigbokie who were at the corporate headquarters of Independent Television and Radio on airport road Benin city alleged that they woke up to discover that their crops planted in a developing area of Evbomodu community, off Ohovbe quarters Benin city was allegedly been destroyed by cattle.
The couple, who are pensioners, said it is painful to see ones investment being destroyed, pointing out that since government at all levels have advocated the need for people to invest in agriculture, hence their decision to farm.
