Our Saviour’s Anglican Church in Benin City has observed it’s twenty seventeen Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols with the theme how now shall we live

Songs of victory by the choir leaders and members of our saviour’s Anglican Church Benin City in appreciation to God for his goodness for the year twenty seventeen.
The church choir dressed on red and white gave the mood for the Carol Service as they sang different carols to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ as the congregation were not left out in rendering melodious carols to God.
Members of the church took turns as they read the lessons, with the first lesson taken by Mr M. Usiaghan, Mr Humphrey E. took the second reading, the third reading was taken by Mrs Nosa Solomon, others are Brother Samson Ugowe forth Lesson, Sister Ngozi Okonye Fifth Lesson, Mrs Aghahowa sixth lesson, Mr Asuen S. Seventh lesson, Mr Samuel Eguamwense read the eighth lesson while barrister Uyioghosa Egbon took the ninth lesson.
In his message entitled “how now shall we live” vicar of the church, Reverend Canon Timothy ighodaro told the congregation that through the birth and death of Jesus Christ God redeemed the world, the vicar and some members of the church comment on the success of the festival of nine lessons and carols. High point of the the service was the appearance of Santa.
