Senate Proposes N10bn Intervention Fund In 2019 Budget For Displaced Persons In Zamfara

Senate has proposed that N10 billion intervention fund be included in the 2019 budget to assist Displaced Persons affected by the killings in Zamfara state and other parts of the country. This was part of resolutions reached by lawmakers on Wednesday AT plenary after a debate on a motion protesting the incessant killings in Zamfara state, sponsored by Senator Kabir Marafa during Wednesday’s plenary.
