Setback for Jimoh Ibrahim as Supreme Court Dismisses Second Appeal Filed By Sheriff-Led PDP

The supreme court today dismissed the motion filed by the Ibrahim Jimoh faction of the Ondo State PDP seeking to disband the panel of Justices  constituted by the president of the court of appeal,  Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa to resolve the PDP gubernatorial crisis in Ondo State.

The Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen who head the panel of five justices dismissed the application for lacking in merit.
Joseph Kadiri reports that the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria ordered the court of appeal to continue forthwith in the determination of matter.
