Social dance held in honour of Late Madam Ayo Odiase in Benin

Late Madam Ayo Osowonwa Odiase has been described as a virtuous woman whose Legacies will continue to linger on.

Children of the deceased made the remark during a social gathering organised to climax the burial ceremony of the woman so many referred to as an institution.

Wellington Akodeja reports that dignitaries including legislators from Edo state house of Assembly and some management staff of ITV/Radio led General Manager Independent Television Senior Elder Ogbeide Uwunwonse were part of the celebration.

First son of the deceased Charles Odiase flanked by his siblings and guests on the dance floor as part of activities to herald the funeral ceremony of their mother late madam Ayo Odiase.

The large auditorium of Baptist Convention ground on TV road was filled with guests who converged to bid fair well to the departed.

There was no dull moment at the ceremony as a Benin based iconic musician Collins Okeh displayed his dexterity with musical instruments and unique voice.

Eldest son of the deceased, Mr Charles Odiase and brothers said their mother was an epitome beauty and an angel who will be greatly missed, maintaining that she was a great mentor ,a detribalized human whose characteristics reflects that of a child of God.

Some guests including the Enogie of Umengben His Royal Highness Anthony Osayewenre Osagie said late madam Ayo Odiase was a great mother who impacted positively on them and wished her well in eternity.

Late Madam Ayo Odiase who died at the age of 82 years was survived by five sons and family.
