SPORT MINISTER CRIES TO BUHARI OVER SPORT FESTIVAL, WADA’S PLANNED BAN OF NIGERIA

THE MINISTER OF SPORT MONDAY CRIED TO PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI PLEADING FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE NATIONAL SPORT FESTIVAL BILLED TO COMMENCE IN FEW WEEKS.
THE MINISTER WHO BRIEFED STATEHOUSE JOURNALISTS AFTER THE MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT SAYS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MUST URGENTLY RELEASE FUNDS IF THE TOURNAMENT  MUST NOT FAIL.
ITV STATEHOUSE CORRESPONDENT IKHARO ATTAH REPORTS  THE MINISTER AS PLEADING WITH THE PREESIDENT TO PERSUADE THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY TO PASS THE NIGERIAN ANTI-DOPING AGENCY ESTABLISHMENT BILL INTO LAW TO PREVENT BEING BAN BY THE WORLD ANTI DOPPING AGENCY, WADA WHICH HAS WHICH HAS GIVEN NIGERIA  A 21-DAY ULTIMATUM.
