The emphasis on agriculture by Edo state government as one of its cardinal objectives to create employment for majority of Edo people has prompted some stakeholders in Benin City to suggest modalities to be adopted to boost the sector.
Efosa Uwangue reports that the respondents also canvass the need for the upgrading of Colleges of Agriculture in the state.
Though, some of them applauded the move so far taken by the state governor in promoting agriculture in the state, they however called on him to ensure that those already into subsistence farming should be encouraged.
