Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has donated the sum of one million naira to alleviate the plight of the Super Falcons.
The Falcons have been protesting their unpaid entitlements from winning the 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON), and even staged a street protest to the National Assembly on Wednesday.
The Turkey based footballer also gave one of the injured players two hundred thousand Naira for her treatment.
Several former Nigeria stars including Garba Lawal, Joseph Yobo and Nwankwo Kanu have equally spoken against the shabby treatment the Falcons have been subjected to since they won a record eighth women’s AFCON in Cameroon.
However, the Nigeria Football Federation have gotten a directives from the presidency to upset the arears owned the players and coaches.
