The future looks bright for Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin as they resume the second half of the 2017 Nigeria National League with a convincing win over Ikorodu United of Lagos.

Mikel Uchegbu and Oski Bobo among the new recruits started upfront for the Arsenal of Benin as they combined well to provide the first goal.
The team displayed some good skills that attracted applause from the watching fans.
Both goals were scored in the first half of the game as against previous matches where the team will have to struggle for goals.
After the match, fans applauded the team and like Olivia twist ask for more.
The media officer of Bendel Insurance however promised the fans that the best of the team is yet to be seen while the Coach of Ikorudu United congratulated Bendel Insurance for a good game.
Out of the six new players Bendel Insurance recruited during the mid season four are strikers while the remaining two are midfielders.
Their next game will be against Heartland of Owerri were the team is expected to get at least a draw to be in full contention for the groups promotion ticket.
