Senate president, Bukola Saraki Expresses Disappointment Over Supreme Court Judgment

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has expressed disappointment over the judgment of the Supreme Court delivered this morning in Abuja.

The seven-member judges of the apex court had in a unanimous judgment, ruled that Saraki should go and face his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

But Saraki, in his reaction contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Alhaji Yusuph Olaniyonu, said he was disappointed with the verdict.

The senate president, however, expressed confidence that he would be vindicated during the proper trial at the court.
