Spouses of the kidnapped teachers of Orhogbua Primary School, Ekenwan, in Ovia North East Local government Area have joined their voices to the calls on the authorities concerned to aid in the release of their kidnapped wives.
Wellington Akodeja reports that the spouses are yet to recover from the shock left by the kidnap of the three female teachers.
The husbands of two of the victims Aighowen Osadolor and Malam Momodu said the abduction of their spouse has left a gaping hole in the families.
They said the absence of their wives has brought about untold hardship and worry to their families.
They said most worrisome is that shortly after the kidnappers contacted them demanding for a ransom of N20 million each, efforts to reach the abductors have not yielded results as the number used in the communication went dead shortly after their last discussion.
They appealed to concerned bodies to put machinery in place to release their wives unhurt to them.
The Edo State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Moses Eguavoen has however said in a previous interview that the police have commenced full scale investigation into the incident.
