Three Soldiers Killed In Boko Haram Raid

At least three soldiers were killed and another six others were injured in a Boko Haram raid in Borno State.

Spokesman for Eight Task Force Division Nigerian Army, Colonel Timothy Antigha said the Islamist militants first attacked a forward operating base in Magumeri but were repelled.

He said the attack happened on Saturday evening when a large number of jihadists stormed Magumeri, north of the Borno state capital, Maiduguri.
Colonel Timothy Antigha, explained that the troops fought gallantly but unfortunately, three soldiers lost their lives while six others sustained injuries.
