Tinubu calls for dialogue between South-West governors and Minister of Justice

The All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has called for private discussion between the Governors of the South-West and the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Mallam Abubakar Malami over Amotekun.

He said the foundation of the country had not been put at risk with the South-West regional security outfit launched by the governors of the zone in a bit to confront the insecurity in their states.

The former Lagos State Governor, however, warned that Nigerians should be careful in handling the Amotekun issue and other security matters in order not to heat the polity.

In his first intervention in the controversy surrounding Amotekun, Asiwaju Tinubu emphasized that the security outfit is not a threat to Nigeria’s security.
