Graduating students of University of Benin Staff School, Benin have been enjoined to take their education seriously in their quest of becoming future leaders.
This was the focal point at the 2017 graduation and prize-giving day of the school.
Performance by pupils depicting the various tribes including Edo, Ibo, Urhobo, Yoruba and Hausa.
In an address of welcome, the head master, Mr Johnson Omorogiuwa who presented the 2017 graduands of the school said they are well trained and prepared to excel in their future endeavor.
The chairman on the occasion and Vice Chancellor ,University of Benin, Professor Osasere Orumwense congratulated the graduands for their brilliant performances.
He said the University is proud of their achievement.
The Vice Chancellor who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics, Professor Paul Jribhogbe advised the graduands to shun social vices.
The event featured different presentations including economic presentation, choreography dance, songs on French language, tackwondo, Atilogun dance skills by the pupils of the school.
Some parents and graduads expressed satisfaction with the success of the event.
Highpoint was the presentation of prizes to the graduands, Omuua Iribhogbe emerged overall best pupil in primary five while Afolabi Damilola also won prize as best kg three pupil.
The 2017 valedictory speech was delivered by Miss Iribhogbe Omuua of primary five.
