Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo today arrived the Benin Airport enroute Auchi for a one-day working visit.
Pius Nsogho reports that the Vice President was received on arrival at the Benin Airport by Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki and some top government functionaries.

The vice President wasted no time exchanging pleasantries with his host and boarded the helicopter stationed to take him to Auchi without talking to newsman.
The hasty manner the Vice President and the Governor left for Auchi suspected the eagerness of the august visitor to inaugurate the project.
Publicity secretary APC Edo State Chris Axebamuan described the Vice President’s visit to the as a blessing.
As early as 9:30am some Edo state government officials including secretary to state government Barrister Osarodion Ogie.
Edo state Secretary of the APC Lawrence Okah some commissioners as well as head of service, Gladys Idahor were already at the airport awaiting the arrival of the vice President.
Vice president Osinbajo was accompanied on the visit by the minister of Agriculture Prince Audu Ogbe.
