The FCT Minister, Sen. Bala Mohammed, has promised to redouble efforts to vigorously implement the Transformation Agenda in the FCT.
The Minister, who made the promise after being appointed its National Patron by the PDP National Youth Vanguard, also promised to empower FCT residents, especially youths and women.
Speaking on the newly-introduced Land Swap programme in the FCT, Mohammed said the initiative was adopted by FCTA to address the housing challenges facing the administration and FCT residents.
The leader of the youth vanguard, Beke Apere, commended the minister for his tremendous contributions to the development of FCT.
He outlined some activities which he said was the minister’s “pro-youths programmes”.
“These include building the Youth Empowerment Centre in Nyanya, equipped with N750 million worth of facilities, and putting in place the rehabilitation centre for commercial sex workers in Sabon Lugbe, among others,” Apere said.
