Women In Ondo Protest Non-Inclusion Of Eyitayo Jegede As PDP Governorship Candidate

Some women in Akure under the aegis of concern women in Democracy today took their protest to the office of the resident electoral commissioner in ondo to condemn what they described as injustice against the candidature of Eyitayo Jegede.

The women  vowed to continue their protest until the name of  their preferred candidate,Eyitayo Jegede is restored back to INEC list. The report filed by Ondo state correspondent, Jonah Omorowa is presented from our studio.
These are concern women in ondo state calling for justice to be done urgently to allow the candidate, Eyitayo Jegede to participate in the November 26 governorship election in ondo state.

The women who carried plycards and chanted solidarity songs maintained that they will never accept any other candidate apart from Jegede whose popularity they claimed cuts across the eighteen local government of the state. They stressing that they will not allow such injustice to prevail stressing that women and children are always at the receiving end if there is crisis in the state.  They appealed to all relevant government agencies to ensure that their candidate is  not deprived of his mandate.

Meanwhile, the Supreme has directed the appeal court sitting in Abuja to deliver judgment on ondo pdp governorship primary tussle.
