Work Resumes In Edo State After Two Days Holiday

After the expiration of the two day public holiday declared by the Federal Government for the Eid el Kabir celebration, work have resumed in public offices across the state.

Aigbojie Ikhuoria reports that commercial banks and other businesses have also bounced back.

Edo State secretariat on sapele road,  state ministries of justice, information,oil and gas, youth and special duties on exolty road all open for work as early as 8 AM as workers arrive there various Offices for the day’s job

Commercial banks and other business centers which were locked during the two days public holiday have also opened to receive costumers
Food vendors and petty traders around the secretariat who were also affected by the two days brake have also resume business
Some commissioners who were at their duty post as early as 8am said the holiday as afforded them the opportunity to rest and resume afresh to give their best to work

Some of the works, food vendors and petty traders commented on how they spent the holidays while someone attributed their lateness to work on the fast day after the holiday to the state of bad roads in their areas

The federal government had declared Friday first and Monday fourth of September as public holiday for Muslims to mark the twenty seventeen Edel El Kirbil celebration
